Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes permitted and prohibited uses of the Ledgable platform. This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account.

2. Permitted uses

You may use Ledgable to:

  • Manage the accounting and bookkeeping of your registered Australian business
  • Process legitimate business transactions and bank feeds
  • Create invoices, quotes, and manage receivables for your business
  • Process payroll for employees of your registered business
  • Prepare and manage GST and BAS obligations
  • Allow authorised representatives (including accountants) access to your workspace

3. Prohibited uses

You must not use Ledgable to:

  • Engage in any fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful financial activity
  • Falsify, manipulate, or misrepresent financial records
  • Launder money or facilitate any form of financial crime
  • Violate any Australian law or regulation, including the Corporations Act 2001 and Tax Administration Act 1953
  • Access another user's account without their explicit authorisation
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or copy any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to process financial data for entities you are not authorised to represent
  • Circumvent any security or access control measures

4. Accountant partner obligations

Accountants and bookkeepers using Ledgable on behalf of clients are subject to additional obligations:

  • You must have appropriate authorisation from each client before accessing their workspace
  • You must maintain professional obligations under your applicable professional code of conduct
  • Revenue share arrangements are subject to the Partner Program terms

5. Enforcement

Ledgable reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including suspension or termination of access, reporting to relevant authorities, and pursuing legal remedies.

6. Reporting violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to abuse@ledgable.co.
