What "differently" means
Different #1: We start with the accountant, not the business owner.
Every other accounting platform treats accountants as a distribution channel. They get referral fees, maybe a white-label dashboard, and a client management portal that's bolted on after the fact.
We think that's wrong. Accountants are the ones who catch the categorisation errors, fix the GST mismatches, and explain a P&L to a business owner who has never read one. They do the work. They should share in the value.
So we built a revenue-share model — real recurring revenue, not a one-time referral bounty — and a multi-client dashboard that makes managing 50 Ledgable clients feel like managing 5.
Different #2: AI is the foundation, not the feature.
We didn't add AI to an existing accounting product. Ledge AI is how Ledgable works. Every transaction that comes through your bank feed is read, categorised, and GST-coded automatically — with confidence scoring, learning from your corrections, and Money Rules to override patterns permanently.
