Connecting your bank feed

Ledgable connects to your bank via secure open banking. Once connected, transactions import automatically every night.

Before you start

You need admin or owner access to your workspace.

Your bank must support Basiq open banking (most major Australian banks do).

Steps

Go to Bank Feeds in the left sidebar.

Click Connect a bank account.

Select your bank from the list and follow the prompts to authorise access.

Once authorised, Ledgable fetches up to 90 days of historical transactions.

Troubleshooting

My bank is not listed. Open banking coverage is expanding. As a workaround, use Import CSV under the Import menu to upload a statement export. The connection succeeded but no transactions appeared. Transactions are fetched nightly. Check again in the morning, or click Sync now on the Bank Feeds page. I see duplicate transactions. This can happen if you connected the same account twice or imported a CSV for a period that overlaps with the bank feed. Use the Merge / Ignore tools on the Transactions page.
